Welcome, Ms. Wall, Transition Coordinator
Ms. Monica Wall has a bachelor's degree in Special Education and General Education, with a second major in History from Kean University. As an educator at the Morris Union Jointure Commission she has worked with students from ages 3-21 years old, and has had opportunities to help prepare students to be career ready and enter the work force. Experience includes: teaching students daily living activities, socialization, and transition planning. She has also served as a job coach for job sampling experiences and has been involved in various community based instruction experiences.
Ms. Wall is entering the Sparta School District after serving for the last three years in Randolph School district as the behavior disabilities teacher. While in Randolph, she also took part in curriculum writing and implementation of Community Based Instruction for 3rd-8th grades, with a focus on easing the transition from elementary to middle school. Ms. Wall is a team player, one who values relationships with all members of the learning community. She has offered parent training to aid parents when going into the community with their children and helping with life skills at home.
