Ms. Harder joins Sparta after working at the Midland Park and Ramapo school districts working with students with special needs, conducting psychological evaluations and offering counseling experience across multiple age groups.
Ms. Harder received her undergraduate degree from William Paterson University in Psychology and Sociology-Social Services, and spent many years working for a non-profit company that serves individuals with developmental disabilities in the home.
She has received her graduate degree in school psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and is nationally certified as well in New Jersey and New York. She loves learning and attending professional opportunities including workshops and courses in social work and learning disabilities to further her knowledge of special needs.
Ms. Harder looks forward to working with the students and parents of the Sparta school district as well as with the teachers, administration, and support staff. She is an advocate for children, always seeking to identify services and supports to help each student achieve their best and feel good about themselves.
