Welcome to Mohawk Avenue School
We are an elementary school in Sparta, NJ for children in Grade 3.

This is Mrs. Madsen's tenth year in the Sparta school district and eighteenth year in education. Her career began in Sparta as the PreK - 12th grade Mathematics Supervisor. In 2022, she became the Assistant Principal at Alpine Elementary School. Mrs. Madsen earned her Bachelor’s degree at Kutztown University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Ramapo College. She is excited to be at Mohawk Avenue and is looking forward to working with all stakeholders on our continued success.
