Information regarding Purchasing:

• The mandated laws, rules and regulations are not for the convenience of the purchaser but to protect public funds and to provide for orderly & consistent practices.

• All contracts must be signed by the Purchasing Agent.  All purchases must go through the purchase order process.  Confirming, telephone, or verbal orders are not allowed.  A signed purchase order must be provided to allow for the purchase.

• Quotes: purchases of any specific item(s) that are similar over $6,600 and less than $44,000 must have 2 competitive quotes.  Any purchase over $44,000 must be put out to bid.
